May I first say “Hello!” to everyone if I haven’t as yet been able to properly introduce myself. I am delighted to be the newest addition to the Imago Community as Director of Public Awareness. My title says it all! I am creating many different strategies on how to broaden the public’s knowledge of Imago and how to increase workshop participation.

On that note, I was fortunate enough to attend Carol Kramer-Slepian, Steve Slepian, and Sophie Slade’s workshop held in NYC for Imago and non-Imago therapists earlier this month. This had a profound impact not only on my personal life but on my professional life with IRI as well. What I learned and feel most strongly about is that I am a human being with issues, strengths, weaknesses, insecurities, good habits, bad habits, passion, curiosity, etc…… I am human and in this, I absolutely rejoice! I also learned that Imago gives you the tools to look at yourself but it is what you do with this knowledge is what is just as important. Practice, Practice, Practice. And that is where the community lies. The support of our community is so important for the growth of the Imago community. So I thank you, Tim and Farrah, Harville and Helen, for inviting me into “your home!” And I also thank Carol, Steve, and Sophie and all the therapists who allowed me this incredibly enriching experience. I look forward to getting to know all of you better as I work to spread the joys and benefits of Imago to the world.
