Last year we printed a magnificent 62 page course catalog, and much of this information is also available on the website. But it was a huge undertaking to prepare such a detailed document crammed with information. And of course, no sooner was it printed, that we started changing things and making modifications.
The course catalog is a particularly important document for the Institute, since it specifies requirements for each course.
Bruce Crapuchettes has done a fabulous job of preparing a 2005 Course Catalog, which includes some exciting new changes. But this year, rather than printing it all at once, we have decided to subdivide the document into sections, and make each section available on the website for everyone as pdf files. This means we can update each section independently, making it much easier to approve the changes within the faculty, and to keep the whole document current.
It will also help us to answer enquiries better too. We can send people the specific sections which relate to their interest, such as the section on Basic Clinical Training, rather than sending the entire 62 page document, which can be a bit daunting to navigate.
