Breaking the training bottleneck

Master Trainers are very precious to the Imago organization. Workshop Presenters and Clinical Instructors can only be trained by the Master Trainers, but we currently only two are active. That can make it very difficult to provide the trainings we need to help Imago grow around the world. And we can’t create more Master Trainers – since these are a unique group, extensively trained by Harville Hendrix.

We’re delighted that the Master Trainers have agreed to train some of the Clinical Instructors to enable them to teach advanced courses, including Workshop Presenter and Clinical Instructors. This will create a new generation of Senior Clinical Instructors, who can help keep the Imago Faculty alive and growing.

This is particularly important since 10 people applied this year to join the faculty – far more than we can currently train! Maureen Brine and Rick Stolp have already started training with Maya Kollman to be able to train Workshop Presenters.

Our new Course Catalog makes it easier to become a workshop presenter too. Candidates no longer have to complete the full Advanced Clinician requirements, although they are still required to complete some advanced courses.
