Advanced Courses FAQ

What are the Fees?

The fees in North America for each course are $600 for IRI members, and $700 for Imago Therapists who are not current members of IRI. Fees in locations outside of North America will vary.

When will I be able to enroll into an Advanced Course?

We strongly recommend completing the 12 day Basic Clinical Training prior to enrolling in the Advanced Training. However, we only require completion of Day 8 of the Imago Clinical Training to enroll. You can enroll in a Imago Clinical Training course here.

What are the Advanced Courses?

The Advanced Courses include the following Course 504: Characterological Growth, Brilliant at the Basics 1, Giving and Receiving Love, From Despair to Repair, and The Attuned Therapist. Four of these five courses must be completed to gain Advanced Clinician status.

Do these Advanced Courses provide any CE hours?

CE hours are available for Advanced Courses. Check with trainer for details.

What are the new Advanced Clinician Requirements?

1) Two years certification as an IRT

2) Effective August 1, 2013, the new course requirements for Advanced Clinician designation are:

The Attuned Therapist: Working with Reactivity and Resistance
From Despair to Repair: Helping Couples Heal and Grow Through Crisis
